HES 462 - Cardiovascular Function and Electrophysiology Credit Hours: 3
An in-depth study of circulation, heart structure and function, cardiovascular training responses, and heart disease. Includes instruction in EKG interpretation and experience and EKG metabolic cart graded exercise testing. Addresses cardiovascular medications and diagnostic procedures.
Prerequisite: HPR 153 ; BIO 265 ; and junior classification Concurrent: BIO 265 may be taken concurrently with proper authorization
Minimum Grade Required C for health exercise science majors
