SED 423 - Special Education Assessment

Credit Hours: 3

Provides instruction in appropriate assessment methods that lead directly to diagnosing skill deficits and determining levels of functioning in reading, writing, mathematical and social skills. Assessment results are translated into goals, objectives, and statements of progress on student IEPs. Explores methods of evaluating instructional outcomes for adjustments to ongoing instructional planning to meet individual needs.

Prerequisite: C or better in SED 200
