CMI 422 - Counseling in Ministry


Credit Hours: 3

Explores basic skills needed interact with various human needs encountered in ministry. Includes basic counseling theories and applied techniques/methods essential in the general Christian counseling. Focuses on needs of the general population rather than clinical therapy, such as pre-marriage/marriage issues, age-related adjustments, sexual issues, interpersonal conflicts, suffering and death, community resources, and professional referrals.

Prerequisite: PSY 100  and junior classification
