CRJ 320 - Justice and the Constitution Credit Hours: 3
Explores the concept of justice (from Biblical, classical, modern, and legal perspectives) and the Constitution and its applications for criminal justice. Individual rights are examined in contrast to government power and responsibility to promote public safety. Focused attention is given to the roles of authority and force in the policing context including the 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8th Amendments.
