Mentored middle school teaching experience to complement a successful elementary placement. Provides observation and management of the classroom and learning activities of pupils. The student assumes increasing responsibility for directing the classroom. Credit hours are determined individually based on the number of weeks required for placement(s), as articulated in the student teacher policy.

Prerequisite: SOE admission, satisfactory completion of all required education courses and the required 120 clock hours of pre-student teaching field experience, and approved to student teach
