NUR 680G - Clinical Practicum Credit Hours: 4 - two semesters - total 8
Focuses on application of nursing theory, pathophysiologic and epidemiological concepts and exploration of nursing therapies, skills and techniques essential to the provision of primary health care. The clinical practicum is arranged with a local preceptor (either a certified NP, physician, or PA) with the approval of the program faculty. Students have regular contact with SAU clinical faculty, who also provide oversight of the preceptor-led experience. PMC students only.
Prerequisite: NUR 612 , NUR 618 , NUR 602 , and NUR 602R Graded: P/F
Minimum Grade Required: Passing grade to continue in PMC program
Repeatable for Credit: Up to two times, depending on clinical hours needed. Clinical, Internship, or Practicum Hours: 125 hours per 2 Credit hours Location: Online
