SWK 516 - Cultural Humility Credit Hours: 1
Explores a variety of topics including disparities perpetuated through policy and programming, implicit bias, and privilege. Through self-reflection, students will develop cultural humility that will aid them in advocating for clients and client systems at all levels. Students will learn how their personal biases may impact work with others and gain a better understanding for equitable policy development. Also addresses resiliency and key factors in overcoming trauma.
Prerequisite: SWK 510 Location: Online,Virtual Classroom
