CNS 620 - Counseling Techniques

Students will develop basic counseling skills and techniques, with special attention to gender, age, culture, and ethnicity. They will learn to conduct diagnostic interviews, develop case conceptualizations, write intake summaries, and develop treatment plans. The purpose of this course is to prepare students for their clinical experience.
