EDU 242 - Psychology Applied to Teaching and Learning

Explores concepts about how students learn, to understand and apply general principles of instruction, classroom management, and assessment to increase student learning. Reviews major developmental and learning theories from the framework of educational psychology. Introduces taxonomies of educational objectives along with unit- and lesson-planning frameworks. Provides skill development and practical application activities to implement instructional approaches and strategies for integrating technology into planned lessons.
