FIN 390 - Independent Study

Provides opportunities for students to research and/or complete special projects and/or reading to enrich their academic experience. Regularly listed catalog courses cannot be taken under this format (see Tutorial Courses). Directed by the student with only preliminary guidance and final evaluation from the sponsoring instructor. Standard letter grade if satisfying a course in a major or minor. A maximum of two independent studies may be completed in a student’s academic program.

Prerequisite: 12 discipline credit hours completed before the semester of registration
Repeatable for Credit: Yes, one time.
