Required Courses
- SWK 311 - Racial and Ethnic Relations Credit Hours: 3 ^
- EDU 290 - Independent Study courses, one with discipline-based content Credit Hours: 2 ^
- EDU 390 - Independent Study courses, one with discipline-based content Credit Hours: 2 ^
- EDU 430 - Seminar in Teaching Credit Hours: 1 §*
- EDU 450 - Directed Teaching (urban setting) Credit Hours: 3-6 ^*
Total Credit Hours: 11-14
Urban Visit Days and Practical Participation Hours: Students in the urban education leadership endorsement must participate in two all-day trips in an urban setting arranged by the School of Education. Students must complete at least 40 clock hours of work in a preapproved urban setting.
