CNS 658 - Practicum in Counseling

Emphasizes practical application of counseling principles. Provides counseling experiences in a clinical setting, affording students the opportunity to apply previously acquired knowledge and skills.

Prerequisite: Application and approval and all CNS foundation courses. For School Counseling and Dual Concentrations, CNS 673 and CNS 683
Additional Requirements: Registration for this course is completed only after the clinical site is secured and approved.

Clinical, Internship, or Practicum Hours: Requires 100 clock hours with a minimum of 40 clock hours of direct client contact.
