SED 645 - Internship Action-Research for Exceptional Learners Credit Hours: 3
Develop and implement an action-research plan in a supervised and mentored special education teaching assignment in a K-12 setting. Interns conduct an intervention, collect data, analyze and interpret the data, and discuss recommendations for action based upon their findings. Culminates with master’s thesis based on the evidence-based action research project.
Requires placement in a classroom setting according to the area of focus of the selected master’s degree program.
Prerequisite: SED 640 Corequisite: SED 650 if seeking certification
